Five stages, in the same order every time. You approve the plan and the price before the build starts, and you see the platform being built as it happens.
Discovery call
You walk us through what your firm does, where the day breaks down, and what you have tried already. If Forge is not the right fit, we say so on the call.
Specification
We map the platform in full and put a price against it. You read it, mark it up, and approve it. Approved spec means locked scope and a locked price.
Build
The platform is built to the approved spec. You get progress every week and a live environment you can open whenever you want — no disappearing for months.
Launch
Code, documentation and credentials are handed over as set out in your agreement. Your team is trained on the platform, and your data comes across with it.
After launch
Most firms keep a monthly retainer for updates, new features and fixes. No long-term contract — it is earned each month.

What if I need changes mid-build?
Minor adjustments inside the approved spec are included. Anything larger is priced separately — and because everything is specified upfront, it rarely comes up.
Do I need to be technical?
No. Most people Forge works with run a firm, not a codebase. Everything is explained in plain language at every stage.
What happens to the software if we stop working together?
It stays yours. The handover at launch is what you keep — the platform does not switch off because the retainer ends.
Can you work with the tools we already use?
Usually, yes. What connects and how is decided during the specification, so it is priced in rather than discovered later.
